Hosted by the Cashmere Museum & Pioneer Village, this annual event is set to take place on Saturday, Oct. 7, promising a day of excitement and cultural enrichment.
The gates will open at 9:00 a.m., kicking off the festivities with a patriotic touch as the Cashmere High School Jazz Choir performs the National Anthem at 9:15 a.m. The day will be jam-packed with live music featuring talented artists like Corban Welter, Darnell Scott, Guy Ragosta, Rachel Powers, and the Wenatchee Youth Circus, ensuring that there's something for every musical taste.
For those seeking a taste of history, the Pioneer Village Festival offers a journey back in time with live history actors, gold panning, and even a visit to the saloon for some old-fashioned sarsaparilla. Throughout the day, there will be captivating live demonstrations, including flintknapping, spinning, weaving, and silversmithing, providing a glimpse into the artisanal skills of the past.
The entertainment doesn't stop there. The festival will feature performances by local talent, including CHS and CMS Jazz Bands, adding a rhythmic twist to the day's festivities.
In addition to the entertainment and historical activities, attendees can look forward to quick and easy food options, including hot dogs, chili dogs, and nachos served from the kitchen.
