Marjorie Lorraine Byrd Farrens 99, a longtime resident of Cashmere, WA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Feb 15, 2025. She was born to Lester & Ivie Byrd on Sept. 25, 1925 in Oroville, WA.
Marge was very active in the Cashmere Methodist Church. She taught Sunday School classes for years and then later taught the combined Monitor/Cashmere Bible Study.
She is preceded in death by her husband; Cecil L Farrens, Brother; Wayne Farrens, Son; Monty Farrens, Grandson; Curtis Adamson.
She is Survived by her brother; Norman Farrens, son; David Farrens (Diane), daughter; Linda Farrens McElhaney, daughter in law; Carol Walters Farrens (Monty), Grandchildren; Tina Adamson Thomas (Devin), Charlie McElroy, Mark Farrens, Brian Farrens, Amy Adamson Dawson (Jack), April Farrens Schroeder (Mike), Andy Walters Farrens (Amie), Shelby Farrens, Jeramie Farrens, Renee Farrens & 15 great-grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Service will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 11 am, at Cashmere Community Church, 213 S. Division St., Cashmere, WA.
